On December 8, 1939, Alice Marie Hobley Dennis was born to the late George Walter Zanders and Sophie McCloud Zanders. Marie received her call to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021, an offer she could not refuse, for her work here was done.

 Although she possessed impeccable love for her family, her love for God was unmatched. She was a member of New Zion A.M.E. Church where she faithfully served on the trustee board for many years.  She also had deep compassion for mankind and would always render her services in any manner needed.  Marie treasured shopping, cooking, and reading.  

 Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Dennis, two children, Charles Bostick and Sharon Hobley and a granddaughter, Shameria Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memories:

                             Tranquil Jr., Tyrin, Tyler, Tranecia, Teona

She had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
