Alice Marie Coleman Barkley, 65, of Midway, FL, transitioned on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Gretna, FL, Alice was educated in the Gadsden County School System and graduated from James A. Shanks High School. She worked as a custodial employee and confessed Christ at an early age, serving faithfully at Everybody Church in Midway. She loved cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Known as the family comedian, Alice was remembered for her sweet spirit, outgoing nature, and deep love for her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Everybody Church, Midway, FL, with burial at Sunnyvale Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Visitation will take place from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Bradwell Mortuary, Quincy, FL.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children – Priscilla Thomas and Anthony Barkley, both of Tallahassee, FL, and Teresa Rackley of Midway, FL; ten grandchildren – Kaleel Fields, Jamilia Thomas, DeAnthony Barkley, all of Tallahassee, FL, Lajeda Barkley, Jalen Barkley of Crestview, FL, Deniyah Barnes, Avionce Barnes, Eyani Cowart, Timothy Barkley, and Zyarin Barkley, all of Midway, FL; three brothers – L.C. Coleman, Jr., Woodrow Coleman, and David Coleman, all of Tallahassee, FL; three stepchildren – Donterious Barkley, Breanna Barkley, and Keyshondra Barkley, all of Gretna, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
